USE:
ACF is a system which allows you to simply and immediately print different colours at high precision by using self-centring frames.
DESCRIPTION AND FEATURES:
Screen printing execution of a multicolour design is carried out by printing every single colour in succession using different screen printing frames, for example to print a 4-colour design, we will have 4 screen printing frames, each for part of the design which will be used in sequence. The operators who use this printing technique know well how important it is to "position" or "centre" each screen printing frame well on the previous colour to obtain a good final printing result. Currently in the ceramic sector the operation of "centring" is done manually, with great difficulty and loss of time and not always with positive results. The ACF process (Automatic Centering Frame Process) eliminates the problem of centring by providing the operator with special SELF-CENTRING screen printing frames.
The simple but effective method consists in several devices, and more precisely:
AFC CENTRING TEMPLATE
This is the core of the system. It consists in a harmonic steel blade with 2 perfectly positioned centring pins which ensure the reference point.
ACF PUNCHING PRESS
This punches the film to be used afterwards to implement the self-centring screen printing frames. Punching consists in perforating 2 holes into the film which perfectly coincide in shape and position with the ACF centring template.
ACF FRAME
An angular bar is welded on the top side of the galvanised tubular screen printing frame where a high precision laser performs the same type of perforation as the punch, namely 2 holes which match the template.
The ACF frames can be made in all types of formats on demand, though some standard ones are available in galvanised iron: 60x70 70x80 80x90 90x100 90x110.
