USE:
Tools used in screen printing to spread colour on the frames manually or using an automatic screen print machine.
In recent years much attention has been focused on choosing squeegees and pressers for screen printing, commonly called "spatulas", with particular emphasis on the materials used and their different hardness levels.
DESCRIPTION AND FEATURES:
PRESSERS FOR MANUAL PRINTING
They have an anodised aluminium or wooden handle.
Cheap, light and sturdy.
The wooden models have the squeegee fastened to the handle permanently with nails.
The squeegee in the aluminium models can be replaced when worn.
Variable thickness from 2 to 10 mm.
Unless otherwise specified, all pressers for manual printing are generally supplied with a red polyurethane squeegee blades 65 shore A (type 65-9-50-P0).
PRESSERS FOR AUTOMATIC PRINTING MACHINES
To fix the squeegees to the automatic screen printing machine, a heavy aluminium support is used consisting in 2 sections which enclose the squeegee in a perfect, completely uniform manner. They have the same characteristics as aluminium pressers used for manual printing.
