USE:
Tool for the measurement of the chromatic spectrum. The spectrophotometer is used to measure the colorimetry and is a tool suitable for an accurate control of the colour in the production sectors. Its features allow analysing also the products with complicated shapes perfectly, measuring also small details. Therefore, by measuring and displaying the results on a spectral graph, the nature of the sample colour can be seen and the differences can be defined, even those that cannot be detected by human eye, between samples of colours apparently the same. Used in ceramic glazes of colour definition, it is very useful when comparing different glazes, as it provides directly the values of ∆L (if a glaze is lighter or darker than a target), ∆a (if the glaze tends more towards red than green compared to the target), ∆b (if the glaze tends more to yellow than blue compared to the target).
